Happy Memorial Day!

We want to wish everyone a very happy memorial day today, and to thank all of our veterans and the men and women in service for our country.

Yesterday we went to Mom and Dad’s house for a Memorial Day BBQ/Laura’s Birthday/Becky’s Birthday celebration. It was a lot of fun; great times, great food, great laughter. Dad grilled great burgers and hot dogs, Mom made her excellent potato salad and scrumptious chocolate cupcakes with chocolate chips inside, and with swirled strawberry and vanilla frosting, I made homemade baked beans, and Laura made her excellent chocolate dipped pretzels. It was a great day, and now we’re all getting to relax at home today.

I know this isn’t really a proper memory mondays post, but since this is Memorial Day, I figure it will work for today! 😉
