A lot of catching up to do

I really haven’t been motivated to blog lately, but I figured over the next couple of days I’d finally post what we’ve been up to lately.

A couple of weeks ago it got very hot here…so hot that we couldn’t even swim in the day, we had to wait until after dark! As you can see in the image below, it was 111 degrees by our pool in the afternoon, and 90 degrees in the water.

We would have been baking! So we went in after the sun set. It was still very warm…it was like swimming in bathwater, which is nice after dark and when there’s a breeze.
