Another peek at the nursery
Josh is so glad to be done painting! It took him a few days, and he is so sore and stiff now, poor guy! It’s very worth his effort though…the room is beautiful now! We really love how the Behr Pale Daffodil turned out. I was just realizing I can’t do the final reveal of the nursery yet because I want to have a bookcase put in on one wall, and I want different window coverings. I do love our wood blinds, but the installer who put them in didn’t do a very good job. There are zig-zag gaps where the slats of each blind don’t line up properly in the window frame, and it’s tough to pull up and down. So we’ll be working on those things, and when we’ve finished all that I will post tons of pictures!
Shadow is not so sure about all the activity and chaos in the room for now. She is doing really well with all the changes so far though. We hope to make the transition to a household with a child very smooth and as non-stressful as possible for our first and furry child!
But for now, here is another glimpse into the nursery after Josh painted it. He did a fabulous job! It looks like it was always that color now. It’s so light and airy and sunny looking; and very fresh and cheerful for a nursery. It’s already starting to feel like Lily’s room! It’s fun to sit in there and imagine when she’s actually going to be here!
