A photo a day in 2011

I’ve seen and heard of these project 365 blogs where you take one photo every day and post it. I wanted to try it, but being that January has already come and gone, I would need to do a lot of catch-up work. I’m now caught up and current, and attempting to post a pic a day.

Most of January’s photos are of our flowers. That is mainly what we were photographing in January, anyway! I know we didn’t take one every day, but I sort of had to cheat for January.

I’m not making any promises, though, LOL! I know that there is absolutely NO WAY I’ll be able to actually do a post every single day, or even take a picture every day. Even if I keep my camera within reach every day, there’s no guarantee I’ll feel like actually transferring the picture from the camera to my laptop…so we’ll see. Most likely I’ll be doing a catch-up post once a week or so, and posting a picture for each separate day.

And of course, in June I’ll be giving birth, and after that I might not even think about blogs, LOL! It’s a good distraction for me right now though. Something to try and help keep my mind off this constant nausea.

But if I keep it up, and try to work on it a little at a time, it will be rewarding at the end of the year to see a moment from every day in the life around our house for a full year. And it should also be rewarding to see if my photography improves by the end of the year. (I hope!) We’ll see how this goes!
