Fun with our new lens

We just got a new lens for our (soon to arrive!) new camera. We put it on our Nikon and Josh took some great pics with it! It’s perfect for indoor lighting without needing to use a flash. On some of the darker pics it was already dark outside and the light was from lights on in the house, so those are darker, but still pretty crisp!

Mom and Dad had a party for Josh at their house last night and that’s where we took these pictures of everyone. They made an excellent pot roast meal with mashed potatoes, gravy, carrots, and dinner rolls. It was so good! And Laura made excellent cupcakes for Josh, and she also brought some from her friend who’s going into the cupcake business.

Becky flat-ironed my hair for me while I was up there, and she put a fun fishtail braid in it with a flower, too.

George played the piano for us at Mom and Dad’s. It was awesome to hear him play again…hopefully soon I can get a recording of it for the blog!
