Our Baby Shower

On Saturday April 2 we had our baby shower! Laura and Brett hosted it at their house, and it was FANTASTIC!! We loved it! We were very excited about it (and Lillian was too…she kept kicking and moving around in my belly like she knew the party was for her!)

Our terrific hostess:

Laura really did an excellent job as hostess! She and everyone who helped her did such a great job decorating and planning fun games and snacks and everything! It was all just perfect! Thank you Laura!! She also made gorgeous homemade soaps that smell soooo good (strawberry shortcake) with cute baby favors inside, and personalized  candy bar wrappers with our daughter’s name and due date! And Brett made pink chocolate dipped strawberries…yum! Thanks you two…and thank you everybody! Everybody went so above and beyond with all the wonderful gifts we got!!! We love them all and we know Lillian will too! You guys are all too generous and sweet! We feel absolutely spoiled!!

And there were so many fun games:

It was a tie between Mom, Bill, and Deanna on guessing how wide my belly is (with a length of yarn). They were all exactly right!! (Josh was super close to getting it exact, too!)

The kids loved playing outside on Laura and Brett and Mason’s new swingset!

Poor Deanna twisted her ankle last week!

We had a BBQ place come and cook their food for the party…it was excellent!

Thank you again, Laura and everyone for such a fun party! We’ll always remember it! 🙂
