She’s four months old
Yesterday Lilian turned four months old! Time just keeps marching on. Before I know it I will be posting first birthday photos! Tomorrow Lillian has her 4-month well baby check-up at the doctor, so I will have current height and weight statistics then. Last she was weighed a couple weeks ago at a breastfeeding support group she was 12lbs11oz.
Lillian is loving to gurgle and babble. She has a stronger voice now than her little newborn voice. Every stage is just adorable with her, and we marvel at every aspect! She is better at tummy time; she still prefers to do it on our chests when we lay back at an angle, but can now lift her chest higher when she is on the floor too. She has a little brown owl with a bell inside that I hung from her jungle mat, and when I shake that she really rears up to look at it! She protests tummy time still, but tolerates it.
On the rare chance she actually sleeps in her crib at night we have occasionally found her horizontal in her crib! She somehow rotates herself 90 degrees so she’s crammed head-to-toe along the width of the crib. We just hope that soon she will sleep in her crib every night.
She is loving to grab at and play with her feet and ankles lately. Just so adorable!
