I think I reached my goal

I had a goal of being able to wear my wedding ring again by our anniversary in November. I am finally able to wear it again today! It still is hard to get on and feels real tight and makes my finger look like a sausage, but at least it’s on! I can’t guarantee I’ll be able to keep wearing it, but hopefully by November it will be more comfortable!

Of course that pudgy, icky looking hand is a far cry from my newly-wedded hand back in January of 2007: (photo was taken with our then brand-new Nikon in the waiting room of the hospital while our nephew Brendon was being born! 🙂 Same hospital Lillian was born in too! And our other nieces and nephew, too!)

Look at those awesomely painted nails! Look at the thinner fingers! Look at the healthy looking sort-of glowing skin. Oh well. Nice hands are one thing…but having an awesome, beautiful, gorgeous baby girl is another thing entirely. The best thing!
