5 months old
Today Lillian Eve is 5 months old! Sometimes it feels like time is flying, and sometimes it feels like it is crawling. When my parents brought this adorable outfit for Lillian a couple of weeks ago I thought it would be quite a while before she fit into it. I was so wrong! She fits perfectly in it now – and it’s sized 6-9 months! Looking back at some of her outfits and dresses from 3 month size they look so tiny to me and when I’d gotten them they seemed so HUGE and that she’d never fit in them! It’s just amazing.
That adorable Halloween shirt Laura and Brett and Mason got Lillian goes perfectly with the purple velvet pants. Only a few days until Lillian’s first Halloween! Such exciting times!

Some things about Lillian this month:

Still loves to babble and make sounds similar to laughter. Actually giggles and laughs out loud sometimes too. 🙂

Grabs both ankles and feet and sucks on them and especially her big toes.

Is great at tummy time! She props herself on her wrists and hands now. She’s rolled over several times too.

Size 2 diapers; size 3-6 month white onesie for weekly photos; size 3-6 month and 6-9 month (sometimes 6-12 month!) clothing.

At her last doctor visit on Oct. 21st she was about 14 pounds 13 ounces.

Her cute blonde hair is growing in thicker on top.

She sits up very well now, with us just supporting her waist. She can even sit on her own for short periods and will prop herself on her hands or wobble to keep her balance.

She sucks her thumb a lot, just like her Daddy did as a baby. 🙂 Still twirls her hair like Mommy too. 🙂

She loves to look at books and grab the pages. She loves to look at cell phones and grab them! She loves to cuddle and grab her toys.
