24 weeks – Our Havenhill

Yesterday Lillian was 24 weeks 🙂 I didn’t get a chance to post this picture yesterday and I didn’t think I would get a chance today either but there is a lull in the storm right now. The teething (we assume) storm. Poor sweet Lillian has been crying so hard all day. This is so unlike her and we feel terribly for her. She won’t nurse, and she gets so upset so easily. There are times yesterday and today where with trying multiple times I can finally get her to nurse. She’s been having trouble with naps too the last two days. Today was awful. She was crying and/or fussy for pretty much all day. No naps. I finally got her to nurse and sleep a bit at 5pm but she was stirring a lot. She slept like that for two hours and is up now and I am attempting to nurse her. Josh is up now too so at least I have his help and can eat again finally! Poor Josh was up almost 24 hours before he got to sleep today. So far today I’ve given Lillian the lowest dose baby pain reliever and a small amount of Little Teethers gel. We sure hope Lillian feels better soon!

At 24 weeks Lillian is wearing the 6-9 month onesie size for the photo shoot and is in a size 3 diaper now.

Aww poor Lillian! She must be feeling awful, I really hope she starts feeling better soon! Chloe has been a little fussy this weekend and hasn’t being sleeping as well as she was either and I noticed what I think to be a little tooth coming in, I’m scared this is going to get much lol.

P.S Lillian sure takes an adorable picture, even when she isn’t feeling well!

Poor baby!!! (And poor mommy & daddy!!) I hope she feels better soon so you can all get some rest & peace. We worry so much when our little ones don’t feel well. I promise she will be ok, it such a comfort to her to have you both, you are doing more good then it feels like.

Thank you for posting the beautiful photo, Honey, and thank you for the encouragement, Jennifer and Sarah. She sure is a flawless photogenic girl, even when she’s feeling under the weather. I’m so proud at how well you did, Rachel, with the heartbreaking task of settling our daughter from what seemed to be teething pain. You did a wonderful job and persisted with love, kindness, and patience no matter how much I know it was paining you inside to hear her in pain.

Poor Lillian probably nursed less than half of the time she usually does so I’m guessing it must have been that teething. I can’t imagine how painful that would be to an adult, even, to have all those brand-new teeth coming in. Our poorest baby! I hope that tomorrow is better for her. She’s sleeping peacefully now and she did much better in the evening after a nap. She was just like herself again! I think the pain was stopping her from even taking her normal naps.

I’m so proud of her to get to another week and be at 24 now! What a beautiful growing girl that we’re so proud of. Please feel better soon, Lillian, and we’ll try to help you the best we can.

Thanks Sweetie, You sure do a great job with her too! I know, it was scary how little she nursed, and now that we see there is no tooth, I wonder what it was?! So glad she’s better and back to herself now though!

Thanks Mom! 🙂 xoxo Yes, poor baby! 🙁 And yes, it is so hard for us to see her in pain! Thankfully she’s back to herself these last couple of days! I’m on eggshells though, wondering what caused it and if it will bother her again!
