31 weeks – Our Havenhill

Lillian is 31 weeks old on the 31st. 🙂 So since it’s New Year’s Eve and all that, I decided to make her number glittery this week.

Boy is Lillian ever close to crawling!! She stays on all fours and rocks back and forth, and she definitely gets around on her own now, even if she’s still dragging her legs when she actually lunges forward. She’s getting where she wants to go and that’s just amazing! We’re so proud of her. 🙂

Lillian had prunes for the first time today. SHE LOVED THEM. I mean, this was hands down her favorite so far. When Josh was scooping a new spoonful for her she’d kick her legs back and forth in excitement. She’d grab the spoon as soon as he got more food on it and just jam it into her mouth!

We’ll be staying in of course, and just basking in the knowledge that we’ll be starting a new year with our wonderful precious gift, our daughter who’s growing so fast and who we adore and treasure so much!

What an adorable week 31 photo and the glitter is great! It’s neat that she is 31 weeks old on the 31st! It sort of even looks like she’s giving a thumbs up to Mommy with her right hand! 🙂 I just still can’t believe that our girl is over 7 months old now and is just getting bigger and more beautiful every day. Look how gorgeous she is with her golden hair and blue eyes like Mama!

It was so exciting to see how much she loved her prunes today! I was so proud of her to eat it up so eagerly but I was so sad for her to have to have extra spit-up today, which has been so minimal lately. I sure hope it wasn’t the prunes because she loved the flavor so much. It’s still so amazing to me to see her grabbing her spoon and feeding herself so well when she’s only been doing this once a day for a few weeks. She’s such a great learner.

I love her movements and her unique way of getting around! It’s such a priceless milestone. I also couldn’t have said it better myself about how thankful we are to be starting a new year with our Lillian for the first time. 2012 will be the first year we’ll get to have her out of your tummy and with us the entire year. I love that! 🙂
