33 weeks

Another week has gone by and Lillian is now 33 weeks old! It’s been harder and harder for me to find time to blog since she’s gotten more active! She’s so amazing. She can now get up on all fours and knows to put her arm and hand forward, and then her knee. Then she gracefully flops to her belly and scooches her knees under her and starts over. It’s so cute, like a body wave she does. She can really get across the room quite fast now and it keeps us hopping! It’s so funny…we have her toys lined up for her to crawl to, and while she does get excited to see them and loves to play with them, if she sees a Pampers bag with diapers in it, or a computer cord…off she goes towards that with a one-track mind! Of course we don’t let her play with those though and she gives up and has fun with her other toys and her toy box. 🙂

She has had mixed fruits now this week. She tried apple-apricot and apple-blueberry. She loved both of them! This morning when I was feeding her I let go of the spoon to let her feed herself, knowing it might be messy but she loves to hold the spoon, so why not? But what do yo know…she daintily grabs the spoon each time, I let go, and she easily pulls it with accuracy into her mouth!! I thought “ok, maybe once…” but then EVERY TIME she was able to do that! I was so proud of her! I’m going to have to get Josh to help me film that!

She is getting more and more excited to be in her bouncer. She will open her mouth all big and just give the cutest screams and squeals. Then she bounces and bounces and hops from leg to leg. She loves it! She especially loves to face her horsie and cow and kitty on there. We’re so proud of our beautiful, smart girl! We love you Lillian!
