Today she is 35 weeks old AND 8 months old!

Today was special since Lillian turned both 35 weeks old and 8 months old! This is the first time since Lillian has been born that the 28th has fallen on a Saturday. 🙂

It was SUPER hard to get her to sit still for this photo shoot! She definitely was on the go! Here is what most of the session consisted of:

She would be taller than Tigger in her 8 month photo, but she’s sort-of leaning to the side and is a bit slumped, so it’s not as accurate as it should be, but it works!

She switched to a size 12 month onesie for the weekly photos today!

We aren’t sure of her weight but we think it’s about 17 lbs 10 oz, and we’re not sure of her length but we’re guessing over 27″.

Still in size 3 Pampers.

She’s eaten so many different flavors of food! She still is eating Earth’s Best Organics baby food. To date she’s had:

Peas.Carrots.Sweet Potatoes.Winter Squash.Bananas.Apples.Pears.Prunes.Apple-Apricot.Apple-Blueberry.Apple-Butternut Squash.Banana-Peach-Oatmeal.Rice-Lentil. She loves them all! Of course she started the first few days with rice cereal too.

She is fed mostly breast milk though (on demand all through the day and night). She only eats baby food (half a jar) in the mornings so far.

She is so bright and happy and adorable! She has started bouncing so much when we hold her! She especially loves to stand on my lap and bounce up and down while I hold her! She can bounce so high. She goes down into a squat then jumps up really high! She loves it! She squeals and giggles and laughs, and she’s “talking” up a storm too! She says MaMa and BaBa and WaWa and DaDa and some sounds that are very close to “Shadow”, in my opinion! It’s sort of like “AhWo”. She has discovered how to sit up on her own from when she’s in a crawl position. She loves to do that and usually chooses to do that newfound skill instead of crawling! As for crawling, she stays on all fours and rocks back and forth and bounces, and she puts one hand and one knee forward, but still kind of scoots to actually get around. She is so fast though! She’s really keeping us on our toes! She loves to play with her toys and read books with us and is fascinated with our laptops and cell phones (of course!).

She loves to go out in the yard, and she LOVES hummingbirds! She squeals when she sees them and watches them fly close to her and eat from our feeder. It’s so cute to see how much attention she pays to such a tiny little thing. She knows they’re living creatures! She is so excited by Shadow still too! 🙂

We’re so happy with our wonderful growing girl. She’s so amazing and such a perfect gift! 🙂
