38 weeks

Thirty Eight weeks! This is a big one for us, because I was 38 weeks and 3 days pregnant when Lillian was born! In three days she’ll have been out of me as long as she was in me!! Amazing!!!

I love that she’s clapping in her 38 week photo! She’s been loving to clap now and it’s just the cutest thing ever!

What Lillian’s been up to this week:

More CRAWLING crawling crawling! She is a crawling machine! She just goes so fast wherever she wants!

CLIMBING…she crawls up to us and grabs on to our legs and rears up on her knees to try to stand! She gets her feet under her and with just a little help she gets herself into a standing position!

LAUGHING, SQUEALING, TALKING…she still says DaDa a lot and lots of other cute babbling. We especially love when she puts something in her mouth (her hands, or a toy, my breast, or a blanket corner) and “talks” through it! It cracks us up! It’s the cutest thing ever how it makes her little voice sound and how her ‘sentences’ go on and on…!! It’s kind of like “A gwoy gwoy gwoy. Gwah gwah gwah.” Just so cute!!

SHE CLAPS HER HANDS! She is loving to clap clap clap all the time now!! She also folds her hands like she’s praying with each little finger folded so precisely. She does that a lot now, and it’s so cute!

She BOUNCES to music now!!

She WAVES her hands. She’ll wave BYE BYE and HELLO!

She plays a game with me where I’ll put her on the floor and I’ll lay down and put my back to her. She’ll come crawling up to me and pounce on my hair! When I turn around she squeals and cracks up with full belly laughter! She’ll scream with excitement when she “catches” me. I love it!!

She’s a joy! Everyone who sees her can’t stop praising her and saying how smart, beautiful, happy, and healthy she is! We are so proud! 🙂
