44 weeks

I’m late on posting Lillian’s 44 week photo, even though we did get to take the picture on Saturday. Again Josh had to help me keep her on her back for the photo; she just wants to roll over and crawl away!

As you can see in the photo she loves to clap again. 🙂 She had stopped doing that for a couple of weeks but is loving to do it again. So cute! She also entertains herself by pulling open drawers and playing with the contents. She especially loves her hair bows/ribbons basket! That entertains her for a good solid 15 minutes some days. 🙂

She’s loving to drink water from a sippy cup with no lid! Such a smart girl…very advanced to be able to do that already! She also still loves to pull herself to stand on things. I’ve been turning over her toy bucket and she uses that to help her walk! Then she reaches out from it to the sofa and transfers her support to the sofa all by herself! So proud of her.

She still has no teeth…but we think they’re close. I know, we’ve said that for months! She still has a larger appetite in the mornings. She’ll eat close to 4 oz of baby food after her morning nursing, then plays for a bit and nurses some more. She’ll usually nap after that, then plays some more, then naps again. I’d say she gets maybe 3 small naps a day. She’s so sweet and smart. People often remark on how good she is! We’re sure proud of her. 🙂
