Plaques for your home

We have a sign in our yard saying “Welcome to Havenhill”.

We have been thinking about adding another sign, an address plaque, right outside our gate by the road. Currently the only address numbers we have are on our house wall above our big garage door. Hardly any delivery drivers spot those small numbers and if it’s a first-time delivery from someplace, we more often than not get calls from the driver asking where we are!

If we had a larger address sign out there I think it would help us out a lot. I also think it would look really nice. We have big palm trees outside our big metal gates, and we already have some landscape lighting. If we added one of these address plaques it would make our house look almost like an estate, ha ha! I like something like this one:

But I would order it in the lawn mount version, and I’d add our street name under the numbers. They have it available in lots of different color options. I like the antique copper as shown or the bronze with gold. I love that you can customize it to your liking. If you got one of these address signs for your house, would you go for the classic, or more modern, or more cutesy designs?
