Josh and his mom

Yesterday Josh’s mom came over to celebrate Mother’s Day with us! She brought me a gorgeous bouquet of flowers and a cooking with Trader Joe’s cookbook! 🙂 It was a fun afternoon and I’m so thankful to be celebrating my first Mother’s Day!

On Friday night Josh made me a special dinner for my first Mother’s Day! I requested his lemon broccoli chicken, and he sweetly made that for me! He also got me a “world’s best mom” tshirt that I proudly wore yesterday!

(Ugggh, as you can see, I got the dreaded ‘baby bangs’ after giving birth. Some women lose a bit of hair around their hairline in the postpartum phase, and that happened to me so now I have these dumb little hairs growing there. Can’t wait till they’re all grown out!)

I’m glad Mom got to come over yesterday for us to get to celebrate her Mother’s Day and that I had an opportunity to celebrate yours again, too, honey! It was fun to get to spread out the celebration over 3 days and you deserve such appreciation, love, and praise for being such a perfect mother to our Lillian every day! I’m so glad you enjoyed the chicken dinner and your very accurate shirt! It was so special that you did that fore for my first Father’s Day last year when Lillian was just our tiny newborn girl that I wanted to do it for you, too! 🙂 that cookbook is perfect for us and it is fun to have fresh flowers again, too! Thanks for visiting, Mom!

I’m sorry that you have to go through something you don’t like with your hair, honey, but you look gorgeous and I never would have noticed! Even if I did it is cute anyway! No need to ugh! I just are these photos of my girls and I’m glad Mom got some of us as a family, too! Our precious Lillian is getting to be such a big girl!

Thanks for the wonderful day celebrating your first Mother’s Day and Mother’s Day for me as well. As always, the photos are wonderful and it’s just amazing to realize Lillian is almost one year old. She is such a sweet, loving, beautiful girl and it’s a direct result of having two wonderful parents. Lillian also has such a playful personality. I just love it when she spontaneously bursts into her dance moves. Happy Mother’s Day to all and the wish for many more in the future.
