Mother’s Day

Yesterday was a wonderful Mother’s Day! I feel so spoiled to have so many days to celebrate! (Also, in today’s mail was a card from Lillian (and Josh!) wishing me a happy first Mother’s Day!! Wow, that was so sweet!!)

First on Friday Josh gave me a World’s Greatest Mom tshirt and beautiful card and made me a lemon broccoli chicken meal, then on Saturday Josh’s mom and I got to celebrate Mother’s Day together here with Josh and Lillian, then on Sunday Josh, Lillian, and I got to spend it with my Mom and Dad, Grandma, Becky, Laura, George, Deanna, and all of their kids! It was incredible to be one of the moms this year! Everyone got me lovely cards and gifts: bath salts, Dilettante chocolate fruits, a glittery goldfinch decorative stone that says “Joy”, an adorable book about being a Mom, and a glittery cupcake shaped soap! We all enjoyed the day very much. Here are a bunch of photos that Laura and Josh got. Thank you guys!

Yay to your first Mother’s Day you waited so long for!!! I know that feeling and so glad we have been richly blessed with our pride and joys!! You are so welcome for the pics 🙂 What a great Mother’s day weekend you had too Ra with the fun things Josh did for you and got, and then seeing Kathleen, then the actual day itself!! You are such a wonderful mama!! Josh is a wonderful papa!! You guys have a wonderful baby girl, and she has a lot of family that love her dearly!!! Love you guys!!!!

Thank you for this wonderful post, sweetie! It was great to get to celebrate your actual first Mother’s Day yesterday with family. I am so glad you felt spoiled! You are the most incredible perfect mother to Lillian and for our whole household! You deserve all the praise and appreciation in the world! It was so fun to celebrate you as a mother all weekend! I love what Laura said and it is such a blessing to have our dearest Lillian this year and that you rewlly are a mother this year and the best one at that!

These are incredible photos and I’m really glad to have the ones from Laura, too, that got lots of Lillian’s great accomplishments of the day! It’s so neat to see her eating her puffs, sitting with mama and dada, family, and even photos of her standing with no help! You did perfect collages sweetie and I love the black & white of you and Lillian with the same expression and shirt. I see you so much in our beautiful daughter! Each one makes me smile! 🙂 We are so proud of our 50 week girl and her best mama!
