52 weeks!!

Well here we are at 52 weeks!! It’s so incredible to us to look back and see how our baby girl looked every week of her first year of life! She’s come so far – and so have we as parents. What a beautiful blessing Lillian is! She’s growing and changing so fast. Today especially she just keeps standing up on her own! Pretty soon she’ll be walking…wow. It’s amazing to us that on Monday she’ll be one year old. Oh wow! Just so fun and incredible. We will always be a bit teary-eyed at how fast it goes – you have a tiny, helpless little newborn who just fast-forwards into this beautiful, on-the-go baby girl!

We love you Lillian and are so proud of you!! We are so honored to have gotten to witness and document your first year!

Happiest 52 weeks, our beautiful perfect daughter Lillian! Really, it has been a whole year worth of weeks since the day you were born! This is just another stunning photo your mama took of you this morning, radiant and happy and ready to start a new adventurous day! I could watch that beautiful face and smile all day! What a special morning to do your 52nd weekly photo and complete your first year of life with us! I love Mama’s emotional perfect words for this post.

This collage is just incredible and such a gift for completing our weekly photos. Wow, thank you for doing this, sweetheart! I think that it deserves a good-sized print in our house! What a fun thing that would be to look at at any time. It’s very overwhelming emotionally to me to look at that collage and see the year worth of memories and accomplishments in ever week. It just goes by in the blink of an eye to look at in a photo but Lillian has journeyed and we have journeyed together with her every one of those weeks.

How awesome and fitting that you’re setting your mind to standing up and soon taking your first steps without holding our hand! How exciting it was to watch you balance completely on your own so many times today! As you enter your second year of life know how extra proud we are and always be of you! You are our growing bundle of joy that has such a loving place in our family. You did it, sweetie pie! You have come so far and you are amazed by just who you are every day! We love you so much and these days will always have such a special place in our hearts.
