If I had the time…

If I had the time for some fancy holiday baking this year…I’d love to try out these two festive Christmas goodies!! I suppose the mice wouldn’t take too much time – they might be a bit more manageable for me right now.

So far all we’ve done with the house for Christmas decorating is put up our pre-lit tree, hang our stockings – minus our poor, dear, sweet Shadow’s stocking this year 🙁 🙁 and we put up our card holder to display all the gorgeous Christmas cards we are sent.

We are so excited for Lillian to open her presents this Christmas! I think she will really “get it” more this year…the anticipation and the excitement. She already yells “Saaantaaa!” in an excited voice any time she sees a Santa hat or sees his image, or even our Christmas stockings. 🙂

Those are great choices, Sweetie! They both look great and I know Lillian would love to yell mouse for the second one! That’s an awesome idea to actually have a snowglobe on a cake. You already do so much great cooking and an incredible amount of loving tasks for us every day that it’s no wonder you wouldn’t have the time.

It’s so wonderful to see any new post from you again, Sweetheart. I’m glad we put the tree up and you put those decorations for Lillian’s sake. She sure deserves to feel the spirit even if we don’t really have it without Shadow. It’s so special, though, to be celebrating Lillian’s second Christmas and see her get excited to see “pretty” lights up everywhere and have fun looking at the tree.

It’s precious how much she knows and loves Santa and how well she says it already! It will be awesome to see what he brings Lillian this year and see her excitement. I bet we’ll be hearing “open” and “play” lots on Christmas Day.

Thank you for everything you are and do, Sweetheart, and Lillian and I hope it was a happiest birthday for you yesterday.
