Am I the only one?

Is it pretty pathetic that I’m daydreaming about Summertime when we’ve barely gotten into the heart of Winter? Well I can’t help it. I’ve got Summer fever right now.

You see this adorable outfit? How can you resist picturing boat rides in the ocean, seagulls crying overhead, playing in the sand on the beach with your baby girl…

The last few days the weather has been in the 80s here and it felt so good to play outside with Lillian. I haven’t been feeling well and the gloom and chilly air during Winter does not help.

In my inbox this morning were some ads from baby clothing store sites. I guess I’m NOT the only one imagining Summer fun. These were some of the clothes they’re selling now. (Osh Gosh and Carter’s if you’re curious!)

(Yep, they got me. I’m going to be placing an order for a handful of these cute items that I’ve selected below.)

(The bottom right unicorn top is a nightgown! Lillian’s never slept in a nightgown yet and I think this one would be adorable on her. Especially since she says “Unicorn!” whenever she sees one and talks about them a lot.)

My question is this: Lillian’s already been wearing 2T clothing for a few months now. (She’s 19months.) How many more months of use do you think we’d get from 2T? The next size up from this is 3T of course – but since I’m used to monthly size changes every few months this is new to me. Should I order 2T sizes for Lillian this Summer? I think I probably will. I can’t imagine her jumping to 3T before the end of Summer but I guess we will have to see!
