20 months (and 19 +18 too)
Oh Lillian, I can’t believe you’re now 20 months old today! It’s incredible to us how much you know and understand and do. I can’t even begin to write it all, but some cute (and astounding!) examples:
You can count to 10! That’s incredibly ahead for your age!
You can recognize and say almost every letter of the alphabet! (We love how you say “Double-Do” for W 🙂
When you are looking for some of your favorite toys if you can’t find them…you wander around the house, crouching down and looking under things saying “Piglet…aaaaare you?” Or whoever you’re looking for at the time, not just piglet 😉 It’s adorable how you inflect your sentence, dragging out the name like you’re calling, then dragging out the (where) are you? Too cute. 🙂
You keep Mama busy with nursing because you’ve so adorably discovered how to ask me to switch sides…ha ha! You’ll say “Sides!” so I’ll switch the side I’m nursing you on. In general though, you’re nursing less than ever. Really only before naps, when you fall asleep at night, and when you fall asleep for your nap during the day. Occasionally you’ll ask for a “quick sip” as you say. 🙂
You love to play with your Disney princess castle from Grandma and Grandpa. You think about it first thing when you wake up in the morning and beg to go down and play “Pin-Chess Castle” 🙂 You also love to dance to the music from “Nana Balls” (the ball toy from Nana) – and you even dance your babies, horses, and stuffed animals to it too.
You’re so much fun Lillian! We’re so proud of you. You’re so beautiful and intelligent and perfect!
You love Mama’s old Rainbow Brite doll too 🙂
And since I’ve been so bad at blogging recently, I realized I hadn’t ever posted your 18 and 19 month photos yet, so here they are:
