24 months old!

So here is Lillian’s final monthly update! I’ve decided I will post it here, just like I’ve done all the others, but that after a few weeks I will make it private (again, like I’ve done to the others).

We cannot believe this is our girl’s final monthly size update with Tigger! And then we have a new little one to start this tradition with in a couple of months!

She had her 2 year well-baby checkup at the doctor and here are her stats:

Height: 36″ 96th percentile (!) Everyone thinks she’s a three-year-old when they see her!

Weight: 28 lbs 66th percentile

And oh, her development, wow! It’s amazing how well she speaks in full sentences all the time now. Just today I was in the garage taping up a package and she hopped out to join me asking “What’cha doing Mama?” I told her I was sending out a package and she said “Oh!”

One of the figures she was holding in her hand while she was nursing a few nights ago slipped out of her grasp. She told me “Uh oh, Minnie fell.” So I searched around the bed near her and couldn’t find it. I said “Are you holding her still?” She said “No, she fell.” I searched some more and wasn’t having luck so I said “Where did she fall?” And Lillian said “My chin” so voila, I felt near the side of her face and there was Minnie! I said “Thank you Lillian!”

That’s another thing…she’s so darn sweet and polite! If we hand her something, she says “Thanks, Mama!” or “Thanks, Dada!” Sometimes “Thank you Mama” or Dada too.

She sings whole entire songs too. “Rock a Bye Baby”, “Jesus Loves Me”, “BINGO”, “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”, and she loves and knows some contemporary alternative songs too, like “Kangaroo Court”, “Spotlight”, “Safe and Sound”, “Get Lucky”, “Kids”…yes she’s our little music lover!

I will put all of her monthly photos here so we can see her development over the months/years! Our sweet beautiful perfect girl!
