First Day of Spring is Here.

Josh and I celebrated the first day of Spring by using our new pool and spa for the first time! The pool water was too cold for me to go in any further than my shins, but Josh is so brave and went all the way in! I could handle the spa, though, so we sat in that for a while. It was so great to get to see our new yard and pavers from a new perspective – at ground level! 

It was especially refreshing, because we’d worked in the yard again today. I planted a bird of paradise, an asparagus fern, and two calla lilies at the back of our frog pond, and Josh set up the drip irrigation to the rest of the fruit trees in our terrace. He also set up the drip to the new plantings I did around the pond. We still have a few more plants to go in the ground around the pond, too. After that, Josh spread fertilizer on the grass and watered it.
