4 month doctor visit

Lillian did well at her 4 month checkup today…the drive home – not so well. 🙁 The poor baby was screaming and crying the whole ride home! It was heartbreaking. I tried giving her a bottle of pumped milk, but she’s been refusing all nipples (except mine, thank God!) lately. I tried singing, making silly faces, smiling at her, talking to her, shushing her, dangling toys in front of her….nope. Poor Lillian!

She’s fine here now at home though. She even gave me a couple out loud belly laughs too! I’m LOVING that!

Here are her stats:

Weight: 13 pounds 6 ounces (42nd percentile)

Height: 24 1/2 inches (58th percentile)

She is still wearing a size 1 diaper, and is in a 3-6 month onesie size.

Thanks for saying that, Mom! What gorgeous photos of our girl! Just incredible. She just has such fair pure skin and perfect features. I can’t help but brag about her always!

We’re so proud of our girl and how well she did at the doctor. Her numbers are looking great! Poorest Lillian and Rachel on the drive home, though! I feel so badly just having to be in the front driving but I was very grateful that you were back there trying your hardest to soothe her, Honey. You did a great job and I know that she would have been even more upset if you hadn’t done everything you did.

She used to love to nap and/or take a bottle of pumped milk in her car seat so I hope that she can feel cozy in it again. She did great on the drive there. We don’t want to have to upset her so much to try to take her for fun outings or necessary things like doctor appointments.
