This past week

Here are some photos of random things from this past week around here:

My friend (and neighbor) Rachel brought us over some beautiful, fresh eggs from their chickens:

Our beautiful niece Makayla had her first semi-formal dance at school (we can’t believe she’s almost 12 already but these pictures sure don’t lie!!) Gorgeous girl! (Photos taken by my super talented photographer sister Laura! And I think she did Makayla’s makeup too.)

Lillian loves to stand and look out the window:

And here she is in her bouncer:

She gets so excited in the bouncer, it’s adorable to see! She’s also been loving her swing from her Nana, too! She reaches for the toys that hang above her and just smiles so much! Here she is in the swing:

And here she is just relaxing and being adorable on the sofa:

Love this post, Sweetheart! The weekly summary posts are neat because you can add in lots of things that might not have their own post but are still fun to talk about.

Yes, those are beautiful photos of Makayla and she is growing up so fast!

It was great to get those fresh eggs I look forward to cooking them up this week. I’ve rarely had fresh eggs not bought from a store so it will be interesting to see if there is a difference in flavor. It’s neat that they can be so many different colors naturally. I wonder if the store brands bleach them or if they only use chickens that lay white eggs?

Lillian is just so brilliant and beautiful! She is getting be such a big girl and learning so much own her own every day! We’re so proud of her! That’s just adorable and great balance of her to stand up on the sofa to look out at her yard. I want to try this with her, too, tomorrow!

You’ve really been getting awesome photos of our girl, Honey, although you always do! Her wonderful blue eyes show up so well in the bonucer photos. Good job to get that great lighting, Sweetie! She’s just so amazing and it’s so much fun to see her get so excited, jump, and laugh in her bouncer!

I love the smiles our sweet girl gives you for photos! Look at those beautiful smiles in the last few! I’m so glad she still has fun in her swing and loves to just be content and smiling posing for photos for Mama. I marvel every day at how far she has already come. Thank you for this, Honey!

  Yes we need to eat those eggs up! I’m not sure if stores bleach the white eggs, we should find out!

How nice of Rachel and her family to give you guys some fresh eggs!! And it sure was exciting for Makayla to go to that dance:) Yes, I did her subtle makeup and her Grandma Debbie did her hair 🙂 Thank you for the kind complement too about my photography. Oh, she just looks like such a doll and grown up! And looove these pics of Lillian! Stunning and adorable at the same time!
